About me!

Hi there - and thanks for taking the time to consider allowing me to record what will undoubtedly be one of the most special and important days of your lives.

Although I've been a photographer for many years now, it's only over the past couple of years or so that I've turned my attention to shooting weddings. Not only because weddings give me the ability to provide a couple with memories that will last a lifetime and beyond, but also for the opportunity it affords me to make friends and aquaintences along the way. 

During 2023 and 2023, I've also had the privilege of 2nd shooting for one of Scotland's best wedding photographers - Lloyd Stevenson. You can check Lloyd and his amazing work out at lloydstevensonphotography.com

Whilst at the moment I cover mainly central Scotland - I have been known to undertake the odd road trip from time to time, so if you are planning your wedding outside of the central belt,  I'd love to be part of your special day.

A lot of photographers nowadays will describe themselves as having a candid or photo journalistic style. I'm not entirely sure that I can put my own style of photograhy into just one category, other than to say that my aim is to capture each and every special moment as your wedding day unfolds, without getting under everyone's feet, or asking you to pose for endless shots when it's freezing cold outside, and all you just want to to is get back inside to your guests.  There are always a small number of shots that require some degree of posing - bridal party and family shots for example, but in the main the idea is that you just enjoy your day like I wasn't even there.

Whether your wedding is a small intimate affair, or the full shebang, I'll always do my level best to ensure that you get the shots that you're looking for - as well as capturing these unscripted and unrepeatable moments.  Basically - just turn up on the day - have the time of your lives, and have confidence that your wedding photographs will turn out amazing.
